Have a Safe and Well Holiday Season!
NHANA Health & Wellness Committee wishes you and your families the best during this time of year. Tips to keep healthy – eat well, get enough sleep, avoid germs, drink wisely in moderation, make time to be physically active, reach out to help the needy in your community, and savor your family, friends, and holiday traditions
This season can bring about cheer but also sorrow, and emotional wellness and may not be joyous for everyone. It’s especially difficult for anyone facing seasonal depression, emotional crisis, or recent loss; challenging to those in recovery to maintain sobriety; perilous for those contemplating suicide and battling active addictions.
Remember, there is always help available — reach out to a loved one, close friend or your doctor. If you need help with substance use disorder/addiction, or may be in an emotional crisis, please contact John Hanlon CRNA NHANA Peer Assistance Advisor at JOHNHANLONCRNA@COMCAST.NET, 603-234-3536 or the AANA Peer Assistance Hotline, www.AANA.com/GettingHelp or call 800-654-5167.
